Design & Product Development for a small Hawaiian inspired brand
I was lucky to be part of the design, ideation, research and production stages of Makanalani, a local Bay Area brand focused in creating cruisewear and beach-ware for women who like quality and easy travel friendly key pieces to bring to destination. My job was to help design new styles that had the potential to become the “bread and butter” pieces of the brand. One of my key objectives with this project was to not only sketch new silhouettes that were easy to wear but also help sourcing fabrics that met our MOQ’s yet still have a great quality.
